Did you know, that recycling your old plastic tanks with us, can save approximately 400kg of plastic from polluting our environment.
Over 50% of plastic tanks only get used once then thrown away which is why Vision Plastics have created a service in Auckland, New Zealand where you can save your plastic tank ending up in landfill and instead, recycle it.
It is apart of our mission to contribute to helping our planet and due to only 9% of plastic ever produced globally being recycled, we want to help change that.
Scientists estimate there are about 150 million tonnes, to compare, that is about 18,000,000 elephants.
Not many people are aware of this but there are five “garbage islands” in the world's oceans, meaning our waste is dumped on an island and about 49% of the waste found at sea is disposable plastics.
By recycling your tank, you are also contributing to saving the planet, in many ways such as reducing the risk of plastic killing sea animals. Recycling plastic also uses less energy then making plastic.
